COA church family recently enjoyed a wonderful day of fellowship at Dana Point Park. Traveling together by bus, our congregation arrived with joyful hearts, ready to spend the day united in prayer, worship, and God’s presence. The journey itself became an opportunity to reconnect, share conversations, and prepare hearts for a day centered on worship and communion with God.
The day began with a fellowship breakfast, where church members enjoyed sharing a meal while strengthening friendships and welcoming one another with love and joy. Following breakfast, the congregation gathered for a meaningful worship service united in praise and thanksgiving. During the worship service, Church Board Chairman, David Kachatryan, delivered an inspiring sermon based on James 5:13–20, titled “Acts of Faith.”
He reminded us of the power of prayer in every season of life – whether in times of suffering, joy, or sickness. His message emphasized the importance of praying for one another, seeking God’s healing, and placing our trust in Him through every circumstance.
Reflecting on the example of the prophet Elijah, we were encouraged to trust in the power of faithful prayer and to remember that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.
The day concluded with joyful fellowship, meaningful conversations, shared meals, and heartfelt gratitude to God for His many blessings.
