A group of believers of the Christian Outreach Armenian Church, led by Reverend Hovhannes Hovsepyan, visited Shields Date Garden on May 31, 2025. The choice of destination was not accidental.

The garden is known not only for its historic palm trees and unique natural beauty but also for its hidden gem—a trail lined with 23 Bible-themed statues depicting key moments from the life of Jesus Christ. During the walk, the visitors paused in front of each statue to reflect on the stories of Christ’s earthly life.

From the birth of Christ and His baptism in the Jordan River to the Crucifixion and Resurrection, the most important and meaningful moments of Christ’s life were portrayed in stone. This visit provided a unique opportunity for spiritual reflection and connection.

Visiting Shields Date Garden was more than just a trip. It was a spiritual fellowship that deepened and strengthened the bond among the brothers and sisters, as the entire journey was accompanied by warmth, prayer, and joyful spirits. As part of the visit, the group also shared a meal and enjoyed drinks made from dates.

Such spiritual gatherings at COAC will continue regularly, contributing to the strengthening of the community and its spiritual ties.
